No current fence. Cul de sac neighborhood. Sizeable front yard with small field of backyard. Bare bones, only one pair of trees in the center of the backyard. Please do not recommend anything from Amazon.
Hi! I'm a novice gardener trying to only use native plants at my new house. I have a retaining wall of cinder blocks and would like to plant something native beside it that will spill over and down to cover the wall. I'm in the central Bluegrass (Fayette Co). The spot gets medium sun. I'd be happy with anything green, it doesn't have to be flowering.
I've already tried searching for something like that, but I'm not sure what plants will trail and grow "down"
Thanks!
I found a huge patch of milkweed out in Colorado! When I first drove by, I thought it was Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca), so I pulled over to get a closer look. After researching what's native here, it appears to be Showy Milkweed (Asclepias speciosa). I had never seen it before, so I wanted to share.
